Angela Ericson

Angela grew up locally, learning many styles of dance, before moving to CA at 17 to complete her training with the San Francisco Ballet. She performed with the company there and taught within the school before being asked to join the Louisville Ballet and then BalletMet, Columbus. Throughout her professional career, Angela performed dozens of the top classical and contemporary works and had original pieces set on her. She has also danced with the Pacific Northwest Ballet, Burklyn Ballet, the Performers Ballet and Jazz Company, ​the move ​ in Pittsburgh, and the National Choreographic Initiative. She has toured the country extensively, performing and teaching ballet and character dance.
After dancing, Angela earned her BA in Journalism / PR at the U of M and interned with the Guthrie and Jungle theaters. She now lives with her husband and 3 children in South Minneapolis. Angela is excited to work with dancers of all ages to explore new skills and creativity in bringing oneself into movement while having fun!
