Attire For the movement safety of your dancer and to allow instructors to see body lines and give appropriate corrections that prohibit misalignment and injury we ask that you dress your dancer in age appropriate attire described below.

Ages 3 - 5
Girls: leotard (pink, light blue, or black or other pastel, may have chiffon skirt attached), tights (optional), bare feet or ballet slippers (pink leather* or canvas only).
Boys: t-shirt, shorts, biker shorts or leggings (the more form fitting, but movement adaptable the better), bare feet or ballet slippers (white or black leather* or canvas only).
Hair: all hair should be secured off the face and longer hair in a pony tail or bun.
*Avoid purchasing ballet slippers at target or shoe stores. The soles of these ballet slippers tend to be stiff and don't allow the dancer to point well. Also shoes should be form fitting with the toes resting (not curled under) against the tip of the shoe. Shoes that are too loose don't allow for proper movement efficiency.
