Attire

Girls:

• leotard - pink, light blue, black or other pastel (may have chiffon skirt attached)

• pink tights, white dress ankle socks or bare legs

• ballet slippers* (pink leather or canvas only) or bare feet

 

Boys:

• t-shirt, shorts, biker shorts or leggings (the more form fitting, but movement adaptable the better)

• ballet slippers (white or black leather or canvas) or bare feet

Hair:

• ALL hair should be secured off the face and longer hair in a pony tail or bun.

​

*Avoid purchasing ballet slippers at Target or shoe stores.  The soles of these ballet slippers tend to be stiff and don't allow the dancer to point well.

*Also shoes should be form fitting with the toes resting (not curled under) against the tip of the shoe.  Shoes that are too big don't allow for proper movement efficiency.
